Two looping videos, to be exhibited concurrently, both without a soundtrack. Silence #1 is an animated sequence of a flapping windowshade in Fremri-Brekka in north-west Iceland. Silence #2 is a low-resolution video shot of a corridor in the Irish exhibition space at the Venice Biennale. Both involve a certain kind of movement, unnotable in a quet way, and both are made in responce to a reading of the short story Silence by the English author Julian Barnes.
